Darktrace, a British cybersecurity firm specializing in AI-driven solutions, has announced its proposed acquisition of Cado Security, a UK-based company known for its cloud investigation and response capabilities. This move marks Darktrace's second acquisition and aligns with its strategy to enhance research and development, particularly in cloud-native forensic data collection.

The acquisition is pending regulatory approval, with completion expected in February. Upon finalization, Campbell, Dorman, and their team of 45 employees are anticipated to join Darktrace.
